## What is Hivemind?

Hivemind is a free multiplayer party game you can play with friends online. Before the game starts, every player receives spectrum cards, each with two opposite concepts like "Hero vs Villain" or "Overrated vs Underrated", and a target already placed on the spectrum. Players write a clue that best describes where the target falls. Once everyone has filled in their clues, the game begins. Each round, one player's spectrum is shown to the group with only the clue visible. Everyone else tries to guess where the hidden target is. The closer your guess, the more points you score. The clue-giver scores points too: the better everyone guesses, the higher their score. The goal is to think alike and read each other's minds.

## How to Play

1. **Create a room**: One person creates a game room and gets a shareable link.
2. **Invite friends**: Share the link. Friends join instantly, no account or sign-up required.
3. **Set up the game**: Choose card packs, number of rounds, and timer durations.
4. **Write clues**: Each player receives their spectrum cards (based on the number of rounds). Each card has a target already placed on the spectrum (0 to 100). Write a clue that best describes where the target falls. Everyone does this at the same time.
5. **Play rounds**: Once all clues are ready, the game begins. Each round:
   - One player's spectrum card is shown with two opposite concepts (e.g., "Boring" vs "Exciting").
   - The target is hidden, only the clue is visible.
   - Everyone else slides to guess where the target is.
6. **Score points**: After each round, results are revealed:
   - Exact match: 4 points
   - Within 10: 3 points
   - Within 20: 2 points
   - Further away: 0 points
   - The clue-giver earns the average of all guessers' scores, multiplied by 2.
7. **See who wins**: After all rounds, the player with the most points wins.
